Julia Roberts starred in the blockbuster box office hit Erin
Brockovich. The movie was actually based on a true story back then in the year
2000. Erin Brockovich was actually a real person and the inspiration behind the
whole film since the beginning. Erin wasn’t at the Shrine Auditorium to
celebrate Julia on the film, she was instead somewhere else housing a sick
child. Erin was a mother who had gone through divorce twice. Roberts also
didn’t thank her for the real life inspiration for the film. In the real world
problems Erin was in a mess with her first ex-husband for many problems also
adding to that she was being sued by her second ex-husband for defamation. So
three interesting things came up from out of this. The movie was inspired by
someone based on actual events that were happening at the same time during the
making of the movie which is really amazing. Erin was having miserable time of
her own with her two ex-husbands, one she was having serious problems and other
was suing for defamation. The movie was still on the same page like Erin for
the movie since she gave the inspiration behind the whole film in the first
place. I find the whole concept of both the film making and event partaking and
converging together that brought out the movie. The film was shot at the town
where Erin lived and that adds more to the events and also the inspiration.
PG&E actions in the film were also real. The story behind the hazardous
chromium was true and the people in the town were drinking contaminated water
and in real life. The movie also gave Julia a sense of uncomfortable to people
because how she acted in the film but it was her choice to do for she wanted to
have fun with it.
